Founded in 1946, KimberMills International is a Forging, Machining, Fabrication, Assembly and Presswork company with production facilities across the UK, Poland and India. They produce a wide range of products with both high and low volume demands.
Through advances in manufacturing techniques used in the production of tooling and the use of technology that enables the prediction of metal flow and optimal material usage, the process and results that Kimber achieve are second to none.
In-house CAD/CAM facilities greatly enhance the accuracy and repeatability of dies, together with an improved speed of manufacture which gives an increased flexibility whilst reducing the cost and lead time for the delivery of finished products.
Kimber’s various manufacturing sites have embraced modern techniques to ensure an ever-evolving quality management system that fits the requirements of their customers. Associated companies currently hold over seven industry-specific certifications.
Kimber can work with a wide range of materials, including, Alloy, Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Aluminium, Copper and Inconel. Forged products are exported across the globe in Europe, Asia, North America and the Middle East, with exports accounting for 60% of all business.
Quality and testing is a central part of the Kimber ethos, with accreditations including ISO9001.2008, ISO-TS 16949:2002, AS9100, IIP-2000 and ISO EN 14001:2000. Customers can be confident in a high quality forged product that is manufactured to exacting standards.
