MAN Group sets its sights on an award double at Made in the Midlands Awards

Apr 18, 2019

Two Manufacturing Assembly Network (MAN) members will be fighting it out with the best of industry next month to claim two of the sector’s Made in the Midlands Awards.

Brandauer and PP Control & Automation will do battle with 50 other firms from across the region to try to secure the Export and Best Manufacturer (Under 250 employees) titles respectively.

Both companies have enjoyed an impressive 12 months, which has seen them increase sales, invest in new technology and recruit a combined total of 35 new staff.

They have added a number of new export wins across machine building, automotive electronics and domestic products, securing work in the EU despite the growing uncertainty of Brexit.

Rowan Crozier, Chairman of MAN, is looking forward to the grand finale on May 2nd:

“The quality of the shortlist is very impressive and we’ve both got very strong competition to overcome if we are going to be successful.”

He continued: “Having said that I’m very proud of what PP Control & Automation and Brandauer have achieved this year, working hard to achieve world class manufacturing performance against a volatile economic picture.”

Insider Magazine’s annual Made in the Midlands Awards celebrates all that is good about engineering and manufacturing across the East and West Midlands.
